JONATHAN BRODY is an actor and singer, who splits his time between Manhattan and Narrowsburg in beautiful Sullivan county. He has appeared on Broadway in the original casts of Titanic, Me and My Girl and as Lenny Bruce in Sally Marr...and her escorts opposite Joan Rivers. He portrayed Eddie Ryan in the national tour of Funny Girl starring Deborah Gibson. He's been seen Off-Broadway in Theda Bara and the Frontier Rabbi, Miami Stories, Eating Raoul and the long running Naked Boys Singing! He toured Europe, Africa and Asia with West Side Story and My Fair Lady, and performed domestically in The Dybbuk, Randy Newman's Faust, Hamlet and many productions of Forever Plaid - creating the role of Sparky in the original pre-NYC production. He most recently played the Engineer in Miss Saigon at the Westchester Broadway Theatre. Television credits include An Evening With Alan Jay Lerner, Sondheim: A Celebration At Carnegie Hall, and as George Gershwin in Porgy & Bess; An American Voice, all for Great Performances on PBS. He will appear this fall in Guys & Dolls at the Long Wharf Theatre in New Haven, and is currently developing a one man show as Noel Coward.
